Frank Boushon (1894 - 1983)
Chili - Frank Boushon, 89, Route 1, Chili,
Town of Fremont, died at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield, where he was admitted earlier in the day.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hansen Funeral Home,
Marshfield. The Rev. T. P. Bradke of Christ Lutheran Church,
Marshfield will officiate. Mrs. T. P. Bradke will be the organist
and William Allen will be the soloist. Burial will be in Yolo
Cemetery. Chili neighbors will be pallbearers.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, and
Sunday until time of services.
He was born Nov. 27, 1894 in Columbia County, to the late Mr. and
Mrs. Henry A. (Louise Niles) Boushon. At a young age he moved with
his parents to Chili and attended rural schools there. He served in
France during World War I. He returned to Chili where he farmed,
did carpentry work for 20 years, and worked at the Marshfield
Canning Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1966.
He married Ida Wittman April 12, 1923 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She died June 30, 1959.
Survivors include six sons, Arthur of Marshfield, Harold of route 3
Marshfield, James and Donald, both of Chili, Ronald of Route 1,
Chili, and Richard of Route 2, Spencer; three daughters, Lorraine
Boushon of Sheboygan; Mrs. James (Frances) LaBerge of Marshfield;
and Mrs. Louis (Laura) Koffler of Ogema; 25 grandchildren 13 great
grandchildren two brothers, Herman of Owen and William of
Doylestown; and one sister Mrs. Minnie Katzenberger of Route 2,
Marshfield.
He was also predeceased by two sons, Albert and Robert, a daughter,
Lorretta, six brothers and two sisters.

I am writing to let you know that YES indeed, JAMES BOUSHON "IS" the son of Frank Boushon and Ida ( nee Wittman). Frank and Ida are my grandparents, and James was my uncle. My Grandma Ida's last name should read as Wittman. Just thought I'd help you out.
